Muscle testing consists of a client lying clothed on a thickly padded work table while the practitioner calibrates the client's forearm muscle which is bent at a 90 degree angle.

Muscles respond by contracting ("locking") or not contracting ("unlocking") when forearm is gently pressed by the practitioner who then assesses the positive or negative response.

The muscle becomes the "indicator muscle" and interprets the body's inner workings.

The practitioner facilitates the session by asking closed ended questions which may relate to physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual issues.

The practitioner assists in effecting a "correction" which is essentially a re-routing of stuck or misplaced energy on a cellular level.

A correction involves holding specific meridian points on the client's body and/or may also include other modalities such as magnets, etc.
